Extending the life of mining in Waihi was a key commitment OceanaGold made to the New Zealand Government when the company acquired the Waihi Operation in 2015.

We have invested in an extensive exploration programme and we are now proposing to further extend the life of mining in Waihi through the development of the Waihi North Project and the Martha Open Pit Project.
